Britain’s First Halal Airline Set to Become Full-Travel Service

British aviation firm, Firnas Private has recently changed its name to Firnas Airways to provide a full-travel service for the end-to-end premium travel experience market.

With the appointment of Syed Ahmed, the new CEO of Firnas Airways who has been tasked with taking the company to new heights – the coming years will bring forth interesting developments for the airline.

Currently, offering three chartered destinations –  London Stansted to Ibiza, Majorca and Nice – the full-travel service is aimed at everyday travelers who seek a premium, private travel experience at an affordable price tag.

The firm offers three tiers of service: flight only, flight plus accommodation, and a VIP bells-and-whistles option with butler service and guided tours.

Firnas passengers will be able to book flights and customised trips through a “hyper-local, high-functionality” platform, according to Firnas Airways.

More than 20 percent of the firm’s customers are Middle Eastern passengers who are particularly attuned to the need for privacy and safety on planes.

The airline has also partnered with financial companies to allow users to pay in installments or to split payments between friends.

Launched in 2019, Firnas Airways is a specialist air charter based in the UK founded by Kazi Rahman. The entrepreneur aimed to launch and reinvent the airline as the world’s first truly halal carrier catering Islamic-inflight food, modestly dressed cabin crew and replete with mocktails. However, the airline’s plans was thwarted last year, leading to iteration of changes.
