UK: World Halal Business Conference Circuit Extends to the UK in 2023 in an Effort to Support Local Halal Industries

This year, the World Halal Business Conference Circuit (WHBC Circuit) 2023, a prestigious industry gathering put on by Halal Development Corporation Berhad (HDC), will go to the United Kingdom. On October 27 and 28, 2023, the Royal Lancaster Hotel Hyde Park will host the WHBC Circuit 2023. The benefit of a business networking dinner on October 27 will be included for the attendees.

WHBC Circuit 2023 London, organized by HDC and hosted by the Ministry of Investment, Trade, and Industry (MITI), intends to significantly advance the halal sectors in Malaysia and the UK as well as throughout the European Union.

‘Halal Opportunities in a Borderless World’ was the theme. The 15th edition of WHBC Circuit 2023 has just been released. The WHBCC will take advantage of the presence of important government representatives from Malaysia and the UK, business executives, trade council members, and representatives of civil society from all over the world to engage in discussions, endorsements, and networking opportunities during this two-day conference.

A strong trading and investment partnership exists between Malaysia and the United Kingdom, one that is based on a shared understanding of the importance of sustainable economic growth. The conference will investigate prospects for collaboration across multiple industries, including food & beverages, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, supply-chain, financial services, Environmental Social & Governance (ESG), and technology sectors.

The two-day conference’s thought leaders sessions, which will feature 40 panel speakers and moderators, will provide delegates with insightful information. The sessions will advance a program that covers the following subjects during the two days of the event: Enabling Business Agility in the Integrated Ecosystem, Improving Sustainability in the Food Industry, Opportunities for Start-ups in Halal Healthcare and Tourism, Building A Halal Sustainable Future with ESG Trends, Clarifying misconceptions about halal and the international trade of halal products. Leveraging Islamic Finance to Hasten the Achievement of Sustainable Development Goals. Intensifying Digital Integration in the E-Commerce Ecosystem.

A number of training sessions will be held by HDC’s Halal Training Institute (HTI) to promote conversation among attendees, increase knowledge of Halal practices, and provide updates on the Halal certification procedure.

The Halal Industry Field Trip Program will also promote knowledge sharing between prosperous Malaysian businesspeople and their British counterparts.

Azwan invited significant decision-makers, diplomats, business titans, and government representatives to this crucial gathering. The UK, Europe, Malaysia, Singapore, Turkey, and OIC nations are currently the leading sending nations of delegates.
