Fahad Al-Nuhait Assumes the Helm as CEO of Halal Products Growth Company
Fahad Al-Nuhait has taken on the role of Chief Executive Officer at Halal Products Growth Company, a firm that operates under the complete ownership of Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund.
The central objectives of the organization involve “advancing and reinforcing capacities within Saudi Arabia’s halal industries and the worldwide ecosystem.”
Al-Nuhait brings a wealth of experience spanning 19 years, during which he has been engaged in various capacities in investment finance and project management within distinguished Saudi Arabian enterprises.
In his capacity as CEO, Al-Nuhait will be at the forefront of driving the expansion of the halal products sector. His contributions are poised to bolster the company’s expansion, increase its influence within the market, and correspond with the objectives laid out in Saudi Vision 2030, particularly in relation to economic diversification and advancement.
Additionally, Al-Nuhait holds the position of Chairman at Saudi Coffee Co., another subsidiary operating under the Public Investment Fund. This particular entity is dedicated to “promoting Saudi coffee offerings and establishing a robust global presence.”
Al-Nuhait previously held the position of Head of Industrial Investments and Funding at NEOM, the groundbreaking urban development underway in the northwestern Tabuk province of the Kingdom. NEOM stands as one of the most ambitious projects globally.
Prior to that, Al-Nuhait served as Director of Investments for emerging sectors at Dussur, an industrial investment enterprise established through the collaboration of PIF, Saudi Aramco, and SABIC. In this role, he played a pivotal part in driving the organization’s mission to cultivate the expansion of vital industrial sectors and value chains within the Kingdom.
Al-Nuhait has also fulfilled roles as Chief Investment Officer, Head of Investments at the Arab Investment Co., and Senior Credit Manager at the Saudi Fund for Development. His current responsibilities extend to serving on the boards and committees of numerous firms, including the Saudi Jordanian Investment Fund Co. and Al-Hammadi Company for Development and Investment. He has previously held positions at Bidaya Home Finance, MEFIC Capital, and other international investment entities.
Educationally, Al-Nuhait holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from King Saud University. He has additionally earned a Master’s Degree in Finance from Newcastle University and another Master’s Degree from Said Business School, University of Oxford.
He has further augmented his expertise by completing the Executive Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School and acquiring certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute.
