A website that assists users in finding businesses that cater to Muslims is growing its selection.
Five University of Leicester graduates created the website Ummazing.com to assist individuals in locating businesses that offer services to Muslims, including restaurants, clothing stores, law offices, and wedding venues. With Isma’il Munir, Sarah Siddique, Awais Hussain, and Zameer Ejaz, Raees founded the company. Raees thinks the platform for the extended Ummazing Services offer will be the first of its type in the UK. The platform will be converted into a mobile application in 2023 and is free to use.
According to the team, this will enable local businesses to be listed online with other service providers who serve the diverse needs of the British Muslim population. Ummazing Services will provide alternatives ranging from completely free to paid, additional value packages, with premium packages intended to “take businesses to the next level” by utilizing local creatives and digital marketers.
Raees has said: “We really want Ummazing to be a way to bring together the talent of those local businesses that provide Muslim-friendly services and a diverse community of Muslims around the country who are looking for top quality services that are bespoke to their needs.”
