Huda Beauty Angels, a venture finance firm founded by Iraqi-American businesswoman Huda Kattan, is launching a new wellness brand.
Huda and her sisters Mona and Alya Kattan founded HB investments, a brand-building powerhouse. The family has a number of popular companies under its belt, including the cosmetics label Huda Beauty, the fragrance line Kayali, and the skincare line Wishful.
Following their investment in Emaan Abbas’s feminine care name Ketish which is a female wellness company that began in August 2021, HB Investments announced the launch of Humantra, a new supplements brand.
Date Catudal established Humantra, the second brand under the HB Investment fund and incubator. Catudal, much like the Ketish founder, is a cancer survivor with an inspiring narrative to tell. The brand is inspired the entrepreneur’s own health experiences.
Humantra’s goal is to assist individuals on their wellness journey by providing them with the appropriate supplements and assisting them in taking charge of their own health. The brand’s long-term goal is to deliver a product range that clarifies the supplement purchasing experience while addressing four critical health pillars: hydration, gut health, brain health, and sleep.
The first supplement to be published is one that Humantra regards to be the most important: the “Hydration Hack,” a plant-based, sugar-free electrolyte and antioxidant drink combination comprised of 100 percent natural components and six essential electrolytes. The drink will be offered in two flavors: “Himalayan Lime” and “Berry Pomegranate.” It hydrates four times more effectively than water alone, is absolutely pure, and will not upset or disrupt the stomach, according to the firm.
Huda Beauty Angels made its first investment in Ketish, a feminine care label led by Abbass, a former Huda Beauty product developer, last year.
