Unveiling The Essence of Style, Innovation and Empowerment – MFWS 2024

The international networking forum dedicated to empowering women in business, Modest Fashion & Womenpreneur Summit has successfully concluded the 2024 edition.

From 8th – 10th February, te Womenpreneur Summit offered a unique opportunity to learn, network, and be inspired by the journeys of successful women who have shattered glass ceilings across various industries. From innovative ideas to impactful strategies, this summit is designed to equip and uplift aspiring women entrepreneurs under its theme “High Level Women Forum Economic Growth and Sustainability”.

The 2024 edition’s From the overarching theme, MFWS 2024 broke it down into three main discussions to give it more focus in a more applicable context: Marketing Strategy, Finance & Investment Strategy, and System Strengthening. Under these topics, the summit conducted a talk show and a women CEO forum with a variety of keynote speakers and discussion starters from different backgrounds and business sectors.

Among them are Eva Law (Head of Association of Family Offices in Asia), Nur Asia Uno (Head of Asosiasi Fashion Indonesia), Susan Emir (Founder of Rumah Sabine) and Alia Khan (Founder of Islamic Fashion and Design Council).

It also showcased the glamour of the runway a modest fashion show by twelve modest fashion brands including Ayu Dyah Andari, Hijaberlin, BT Batik Trusmi, Zeta Prive, and Greenism.

To introduce the event and generate awareness, the MFWS 2024 committee organized a series of mini-events titled ‘Intimate Gathering.’ The first gathering took place on December 5 in South Jakarta, drawing participation from 23 local fashion brands. The second event, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, saw the attendance of 25 Malaysian brands and organizations.

MFWS 2024 was established by Ayu May Fakih, the founder of Kreasi Mode International. Ayu has extensive experience in organizing international events for youth development. Notably, her Model United Nations initiative has made a global impact, reaching participants from over 100 countries
