This morning, the Malaysia Showcase Pavilion at the Helal Expo 2023 Istanbul, Turkey, was magnificently adorned. The Malaysia Showcase Pavilion welcomed all trade buyers, investors, and business colleagues since it was the focal point of the whole event. The grand opening was done by H.E. Tengku Mohd Dzaraif Raja Abdul Kadir, the Consulate General of Malaysia in Istanbul, who was joined by YBrs. Tuan Zahiruddin bin Basiran, the Trade Commissioner of MATRADE.

Tengku Mohd Dzaraif Raja Abdul Kadir praised the Malaysia Showcase Pavilion’s dedication to promoting global collaborations in his inaugural comments. “As a bridge connecting nations, the Malaysia Showcase Pavilion fosters trade opportunities and attracts potential buyers from the Euroasia region and beyond,” he said.
“With HDC’s leadership, Malaysian halal businesses and SMEs can explore partnerships and investments with other foreign companies, expanding market access,” he adds in his expression of thanks to HDC. This year, the HDC placed special emphasis on pharmaceutical firms, discussing their manufacturing procedures, component lists, and the value of halal certification for the sector. This will guarantee the dedication to manufacturing drugs with halal certification and promote interest in the awareness of this industry.
In addition to facilitating networking opportunities and providing a live demonstration of pharmaceutical items that are accessible at their exhibit, HDC has scheduled pocket presentations to provide information on the compliance of halal standards.
