Adelaide’s first Halal Food Festival is coming to Victoria Square this month, celebrating cuisines from over 30 cultures from around the world

Mohammed Hassan, the visionary Creative Director and spokesperson, describes the Halal Food Festival as an inclusive event, welcoming all to embrace the winter cityscape and enjoy family-friendly entertainment. He underscores the festival’s role in delivering a unique culinary experience that unites South Australia, allowing locals to savor global cultures without leaving their own backyard.

Hassan notes, “The Halal Food Fest invites those curious about halal cuisine to partake, yet it’s worth noting that many individuals already enjoy halal food unknowingly, particularly at their preferred restaurants.”

Running from morning till night, the festival presents options to explore while the sun graces the sky or to venture beneath the stars. A vibrant array of stalls will adorn the square, each offering delectable cuisines such as Moroccan, Syrian, Pakistani, Afghan, Greek, Indian, Lebanese, Turkish, Bosnian, Ethiopian, Thai, Vietnamese, and Korean.
