The Halal Guys, a renowned fast-casual restaurant from New York, has revealed the opening date for its inaugural Vancouver branch. The eatery, established by three Egyptian immigrants in the 90s, started as a humble food cart and has since flourished into a successful chain with numerous outlets spanning the United States, Asia, the U.K., and even one in Ontario, Canada.
After creating much anticipation among Vancouver residents for several months, The Halal Guys finally declared that they would be serving their delectable falafel, chicken, and gyros at 570 Robson St starting from July 15.
To mark the occasion, the restaurant has planned multiple giveaways throughout the opening weekend (July 15-16). The first customer in line on Saturday will be rewarded with a complimentary item from The Halal Guys’ menu every month for a whole month. Moreover, the subsequent ten customers will receive a free platter each week. Additionally, every purchase made during the opening weekend will automatically enter customers into a draw for various grand prizes.
Alongside their signature sandwiches and platters, The Halal Guys also offer delectable desserts like baklava, as well as their renowned white sauce, which is available for purchase in pouches.
In a recent Instagram post unveiling the opening details, the restaurant expressed gratitude for the unwavering support and patience, stating, “We are eagerly looking forward to celebrating with you.”
