Eating Disorders Awareness Week (EDAW) is an annual event aimed at educating the public about the realities of eating disorders and providing support and visibility to those affected by these conditions. This year, it will take place from February 27 to March 5, 2023. The campaign aims to combat the stigma attached to eating disorders and raise awareness among communities. The focus will be on learning about the various types of eating disorders, identifying early warning signs, understanding the psychological factors that contribute to these conditions, and exploring available treatment and support options.
By coming together and breaking the stigma, we can better educate ourselves and support those who may be struggling with an eating disorder.
