London, United Kingdom UK-based The launch of Guider’s upcoming Muslim education app is announced. The app is expected to go live in March 2023, during the holy month of Ramadan. The Guider app aims to make it easier for Muslims all over the world to find the information, the time, and the motivation they need to learn about and practice their religion. The app’s beta prototype was already released in December 2022.
The app’s guided learning journeys, which Muslims can read and listen to, are intended to help them make meaningful progress toward their spiritual goals. The app’s features were created based on user feedback collected through in-depth interviews and interactions. As a result, the app’s initial version includes features like a progress tracker, practical guides with bite-sized content, and personalized recommendations.
The app’s bite-sized content can be read quickly and consistently, and the advice it offers Muslims can be immediately put to use in their daily lives. Users are able to engage with the content in a meaningful and productive way thanks to the reflections and suggested actions. The app’s creators make sure that everything offered is true to Islam’s teachings and authentic. The app provides clear references for the content from primary sources to guarantee authenticity. That is, the two main books that Muslims turn to for guidance are the Holy Quran and the Hadith, which is a collection of the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) sayings. Users can track their progress and create enduring habits with the app’s assistance.
For many of the 2 billion Muslims worldwide, faith is at the top of their list of priorities. Despite this, most of us struggle to find the time, motivation and content needed to lead our lives in line with this priority. I’ve felt this problem first-hand, and saw the complete lack of scalable solutions to solve this problem. This is why we’re building a ‘daily guide for busy Muslims’ to access bite-sized content that is tailored to their needs. As an education investor, I understand the playbook for making this work, and hope to build the category-defining solution for the Muslim community,” says Shinaz Navas, Co-Founder, and CEO of Guider.
In their initial funding round, Guider was successful in securing investments from reputable Muslim angel investors and top venture capital firms. Therefore, the app is set to exit the prototype stage and launch in its full form in March 2023.
