Ecco Pizzeria, located at Curry Mile one of the most popular Manchester areas ever, has opened its doors.
This halal eatery will be serving authentic Italian food such as Neapolitan wood fired pizza, pasta and Italian inspired chicken parmesans and burgers, along with a bakery section that serves freshly baked goods throughout the day.
This is the 2nd Ecco Pizzeria in the country, with the management team consisting of second generation British Italian Muslims, who strive to provide authentic halal Italian cuisine to the people of Manchester.
Owner Ish Ahmed has stated that “This is bringing something new to this famous stretch of road. It has been difficult to finish the project as there were so many stops and starts over the past two years due to the pandemic. We are delighted to be finally opening our doors and treating Manchester diners to something they may not have tasted before.” He also stated that all ingredients are Italian and imported from Italy every week.
