Recently we have been witnessing the increase and growth of women in the challenging industries like aviation, tourism, etc. It is great to highlight that the amount of female pilots hailing from Saudi has been growing day by day.
The greatest highlight is the low-cost airline Flyadeal of Saudi, which is situated at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah announced they will be traveling with an all-female crew on board which is a first in Saudi aviation history. Flight 117 flew from Riyadh to Jeddah with the all-female crew, which was co-piloted by the youngest Saudi female pilot, Yara Jan. As per what Jan told Arab News, “As a Saudi woman trying to lead my country with a proud step it was a moment of pride and joy.”
