The beautiful destination Qatar has revealed that they are planning to build three new museums in the capital city Doha, which was announced on 27th of March by Sheikh Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, during the online forum held at Doha.
Among these three museums the museum that is in plan to accommodate “the worlds most vast collection of orientalist paintings, drawings, photography, sculptures, rare texts and applied arts”, Lusail museum is also included.
Lusail museum was designed by Herzog and de Meuron, a four story of 559,700 square feet consisting of a library, educational hubs, auditorium, and a spacious exhibition space. The museum will be specially targeted to house the supremacy of the Middle easter and Islamic art globally.
