Ain Al-Harrah, one of the most significant and well-known therapeutic and tourism locations in Makkah’s Al-Laith region. The site is regarded as having one of the hottest springs in the Kingdom.
Ain Al-Harrah is surrounded by 20,000 square meters of green area and has a pleasant climate and natural beauty. Ain Al-Harrah Park is an excellent family getaway with camping and meditation areas. Its green spaces are equipped with a sophisticated sprinkler system, lights, a children’s playground, wooden parasols, bathrooms, and pedestrian routes.
Makkah Governor Prince Khaled Al-Faisal recently opened the Ain Al-Harrah Park development project in the Ghamika Center, Al-Laith governorate.
The therapeutic hot spring in Ain Al-Harrah consists of 19 sub-springs and is located 165 meters above sea level, with water temperatures exceeding 80 degrees Celsius and an approximate size of 49,800 square meters. Ain Al-Harrah has seven wooden sauna chambers spread across a 400-meter basin area.
The construction project aims to rehabilitate the property after it was swamped by torrential storms that swept over the region few years ago. A working committee will be formed as part of the project to investigate ways to safeguard the site against severe rain.
