The new year is well underway, which means that everyone is thinking about the important dates in the Islamic Hijri calendar.
The year is 2022 in the Gregorian calendar, but it is 1443 / 1444 in the Hijiri calendar. But when will the major religious holidays of Ramadan, Eid, and Hajj take place this year?
Naturally, we can’t be too specific about the dates because the Islamic calendar is centered on 12 lunar months, which are determined by the moon’s spotting.
