The multi-million pound restaurant chain is opening in the city center in the New Year.
Archie’s, serves “world-famous shakes, ridiculously indulgent waffles and handmade smashed star burgers.”
It will replace Caffe Nero, which closed last year, on the corner of Stephenson Street and Lower Temple Street.
The pink burger joint previously had a popular dine-in area in Selfridges’ food hall, but it has now closed permanently.
The brand’s full menu of star burgers, loaded fries, signature celeb milkshakes, as well as a full range of breakfast burgers for hungry city workers who have just stepped off the train, will be available at the new location.
Described as the “perfect mid shop treat for all the family”, the venue will be styled in Archie’s signature retro pink and whites.
Amer, Imran, Asim, and Irfan Rafiq founded Archie’s in their hometown of Manchester in 2010 with the goal of creating “the coolest hang-out for food lovers and those with a sweet tooth alike.”
The multi-million pound chain now has ten locations across the United Kingdom. It is well-known among Muslims for serving strictly halal beef burgers, crispy chicken, and other fast-food favorites.
Archie’s website states: “Archie’s is not only the place to be because of its vibrant décor, extravagant menu and celeb hot spot status, but at Archie’s, we are passionate about the quality of our food. We strive to ensure all our food is of the best quality and is all Halal and locally sourced with top food hygiene ratings at all stores.”
