For the past nine years, AlHuda CIBE has hosted the Global Islamic Microfinance Forum. The 10th Global Islamic Microfinance Forum will be held in Dubai, UAE on December 12, 2021, with a two-day post-event workshop on practical aspects of Islamic micro, agriculture, and rural finance on December 13-14, 2021.
AlHuda is promoting the recognition of the Islamic Microfinance System by encouraging practitioners, microfinance institutions, donor agencies, and government institutions. It provides a forum for dialogue between multilateral donor organizations and microfinance networks in order to provide current information on various aspects of Islamic microfinance. These are the reasons why these events are held on a global scale so that the public can benefit from them. In these forums, state-of-the-art knowledge about Islamic Microfinance is shared through sessions, speeches, and presentations organized into different tracks focused on active learning within the specific subject, allowing participants to gain a global perspective on microfinance.
