Based in Maldives capital city Male’, Fatima started Fatima’s Wardrobe online business from scratch on her own where she learnt how to sew in 2018. Back then no one was expecting her business to be standing where it is today, her business is like a new light for those who love to wear modest clothes. She gained the knowledge of fashion designing on her own and started the modest clothing business on December 2018. Her designs are mostly focused on abaya styles.
As per Fatima she struggled to obtain all the materials from Male’, Maldives which is still an issue till date. She dreams to see Fatima’s Wardrobe as a Maldivian modest fashion brand and hopefully wishes to open an outlet in Maldives. Majority of the people look for the color black while choosing a design, therefore the most demand is in for the color rather than a particular design.
Fatima’s wardrobe is also managing a separate brand of her sister, Hudha Abdulla, which goes by the name ‘HudhuHudhu Modesty’ on Instagram.
A lot of women have been adoring the designs of Fatima’s Wardrobe which have gained the attention of a huge audience in Maldives. Fatima’s advice for the younger generation who wants to go forward in modest fashion industry in Maldives is, “Believe in your dream, there are numerous opportunities in Maldives”.
