The 8th edition of the OIC Halal Expo 2021 took place in Istanbul Congress Centre, Turkey, from November 25th to November 28th, 2021. Malaysia Showcase is a forum for the OIC countries to see and hear about the latest halal inventions, renewable energy, and sustainable products. Malaysia Showcase was delighted to exhibit at this event (booth 1C-300) and showcased 27 physical and 17 virtual exhibitors, all of whom were Malaysian local businesses.
The event was held in person for four days as well as virtually for the first time to provide a platform for entrepreneurs and business owners from all over the globe to participate. There were 50 exhibitors, 35,000 visitors, and delegates from around 20 countries at the event, which included exhibitions, showcases, and business matchings. The Malaysia Showcase Pavilion, with a floor area of 214 square meters and 4 square meters of booth space, is the largest pavilion in the OIC Halal Expo.
My Events International organized the Malaysia Showcase 2021. Malaysia Exporters Association (MEXPA), ASEAN Chamber of Commerce and Industry Malaysia, and Aladdin1 all supported the event. MATRADE and SME Corporation Malaysia collaborated on the exhibition. Not to mention the Official Airline Partner, Turkish Airlines, and Strategic Partner, Halal Development Corporation Berhad. Finally, and most importantly, the @Halal, HalalFocus, and H Media Media Partners. H.E. Sazali Mustafa Kamal, Malaysia’s Ambassador to Turkey, performed the ceremony. The Malaysia Showcase represents a strategy for promoting Malaysian halal economics in international markets.
The event will include a new Teh Tarik Session, a relaxing session that will focus on the sustainability of the halal eco-system update while enjoying freshly prepared Teh Tarik! The goal of the session is to have an informative discussion panel with people from various backgrounds as well as subject-matter experts. It is expected that the entrepreneurs will form partnerships and collaborations as a result of the business matching activities.
A virtual exhibition, business matching, and The Tarik session as the knowledge hub are the three major components of the virtual showcase platform. The virtual platform has been extended until December 15th, 2021.
