The Italian luxury maison teamed up with the award-winning hitmaker, on an exclusive collection that can be depicted as “Miami-meets-Mediterranean.” The Special Collection is animated with a concoction of the distinctive urban features of Miami along with the codes that have made the DNA of Dolce&Gabbana.
The artistic geniuses that gave life to the collective alongside DJ Khaled, were Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.
The US-Palestinian rapper stated, “I’m excited to announce this amazing new collection I have been working on with Dolce & Gabbana It has been a lifelong dream of mine to collaborate with Domenico and Stefano.”
The unisex collection compromises of two concepts:
The first concept, the depiction of a lion; a symbol of strength and pride- is framed by florals and fantasies of stripes and polka dots. DJ Khaled also chose it for the cover of one of his most acclaimed albums.
The second proposal, is a physical visualization of the Wynwood neighborhood- the artistic heart of Miami and the gardens of Florida as well as the landscapes of Southern Italy.
The Special Collection, which includes Ready to Wear and Beachwear, available up to Italian size 60 and Accessories, is distributed in select Dolce&Gabbana boutiques and online at dolcegabbana.com.
