Emirates won the ‘Best Airline Worldwide’ award for a record 8th consecutive time at the Business Traveller Middle East Awards 2021.
Emirates also won the awards for ’Airline with the Best Cabin Crew’, ‘Best First Class’ and for airline with the ‘Best Airport Lounge’.
Due to the pandemic this year’s Business Traveller Middle East Awards 2021 was held online which is a first in its 18-year history. Winners were selected based on reader votes cast between September and February.
Singapore Airlines won the ‘Best Premium Economy Class’ award and also the ‘Best Asian Airline serving the Middle East’ award.
Etihad Airways won the ‘Best Economy Class’ and ‘Best Frequent-Flyer Programme’ award while German airline Lufthansa won the award for ‘Best European Airline serving the Middle East.
‘Best Regional Airline’ award went to Turkish Airlines while flydubai won the ‘Best Low-Cost Airline’ award.
Dubai International Airport was crowned ‘Best Airport in the Middle East’ and ‘Best Airport for Duty-Free Shopping’ and Singapore Changi Airport was voted as ‘Best Airport in the World’.
