The Transport Minister of Saudi Arabia, Saleh Al-Jasser has revealed that Saudi Arabia is nearing completion of a survey to build a massive railway link connecting the east to the west of the Kingdom.
While speaking on Al Saudiya TV, the Minister explained that the project will pave way for the construction of a railway line from Yanbu to King Abdullah Port and Jeddah Port to Riyadh. In addition to this, the Kingdom also plans on developing the existing railway line to the Eastern Region.
According to Al-Jasser, the study would be completed within two months period.
